The Order of Amaranth Honors ANRF with Gift

On August 14, The Supreme Council of the Order of Amaranth, honored the Arthritis National Research Foundation at its annual convention held in Long Beach, California. H.L. Gladys Sobotker, of Jamaica, New York, who is a Royal Matron of the Amaranth, chose ANRF to support for its excellence in funding research for arthritis and its related autoimmune diseases, such as lupus. Ms. Sobotker suffers from lupus. ANRF executive director Helene Belisle and board members Sally Anne Sheridan and Debra Samson represented ANRF at the event.

The Order of Amaranth is a fraternal and charitable organization that is active in local communities across the country, listing truth, faith, wisdom, and charity as the four cornerstones of its beliefs. 300 attendees looked on as Ms. Sobotker presented the Arthritis National Research Foundation with a check for $1,500. Belisle spoke on behalf of the foundation, thanking the members for their generosity and ensuring that their gift will be used wisely to further the research critical to so many at the banquet – and across the U.S. — who suffer with arthritis.
