Autoimmune Research with Dr. Utz [Part 2]

Arthritis Now sat down with Dr. P.J. Utz, Professor of Medicine in Rheumatology and Immunology at Stanford University. Dr Utz serves as the Medical Scientist Training Program Director at Stanford as well, where he trains up-and-coming scientists in a laboratory setting and helps them to formulate their research projects in a way that puts them on the path for success.

In part 2 of our interview with Dr. Utz, he continues talking about his autoimmune research and one of his favorite parts about his job: the student research program he cultivated. He goes into detail about how he hopes to usher in a new wave of scientists and get young people motivated and interested in research studies. He also answers an online question from Kathy Mallon, regarding biologics on Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Watch the exciting interview!
