Dr. Albani – Juvenile Arthritis Research [Part 2]

In part 2 of his interview with ANRF, Dr. Albani talks about how children diagnosed with arthritis are drastically different than adults who have the illness; he explains that they are two diametrically different diseases and should be treated as such.

He also answered a question from one of ANRF’s followers on how commonly juvenile arthritis is diagnosed as a result of another illness and how it is important to erase the stigma of arthritis from being an elderly person’s disease, to being known as a broader epidemic that affects everyone. Dr. Albani believes that to further advance science and properly address patients’ needs, arthritis needs to be known as a condition that does not discriminate against age.
