The following is a description of a study from one of the many researchers that our organization has funded.
Paul Utz, M.D.
Harvard Medical School
Grant funds were used to study cell death’s role in the development of autoimmune diseases. Dr. Utz focused on the mechanism of how proteins released from dying self-cells can be modified, then stimulate the patient’s immune system.
