Born and raised in Indiana, this Purdue University graduate makes his home in Beverly Hills, CA, where he has worked in the fashion industry for 20 years. “My mother was an educator for 43 years,” says Scott, “so the Arthritis National Research Foundation’s mission to fund the scientific work of young scientists is very important to me and my family.”
Scott has used his expertise and contacts to help many charitable organizations. But, finding new treatments and a cure for arthritis is near to his heart. “One of my closest friends suffers every day because of rheumatoid arthritis – some days she can barely walk,” he relates. When another friend who serves on the ANRF Board of Directors told him about the organization’s mission, Scott embraced the opportunity to work toward increasing public awareness of ANRF and raising funds for arthritis research.
