Talking Juvenile Arthritis with Dr. Canna – Part 2
16 Jul 2014 As Juvenile Awareness Month continues, ANRF sat down with Dr. Scott Canna to talk about his juvenile arthritis research at the National Institutes of Health – National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) and what’s on the horizon for JA. Juvenile Arthritis is one of the leading childhood diseases in the U.S., affecting nearly 300,000 children nationwide and Dr. Canna’s research involves seeing those patients and working in his lab to decipher how to stop Macrophage Activation Syndrome from becoming a bigger threat to children with arthritis. Learn more about Dr. Canna’s research by seeing the 2013-2014 arthritis research page or visit his profile at NIAMS: http://rheumatology.nih.gov/faculty/niamsScholars.asp

Thanks
